Achieving the vision of the General Authority for Communications and Informatics through:

• Enhancing the legal, regulatory and institutional environment of a competitive market that encourages innovation and provides services and products.
• Support the capacity and competitiveness of the telecommunications and postal sectors locally, regionally and internationally, and attract foreign and local investment.
• Striving towards the optimal use of resources, including technology, and promoting the pursuit of maximizing the use of information technology resources and enhancing their concepts and uses to contribute to achieving social inclusion and bridging the digital divide.

Goals.

• Restoring telecommunications services: solving and repairing malfunctions and immediate problems related to the infrastructure of the telecommunications and information technology sector.
• Improving the quality of services: raising the quality of communications and information technology services for the final consumer.
• Designing the strategic plan for the ICT sector: Establishing detailed work plans and mechanisms for the development of the Libyan ICT sector.
