The department's services include the following:
- Issuing licenses to use numbering resources according to the definition
- Issuance of licenses for the use of numbering resources according to the tariff
- Receiving the numbering resource allocation forms for fixed and mobile network operators, telecommunications service providers of all kinds, and their users.
- Contribute to organizing the interconnection between the different telephone network operators
- Monitoring the validity of the service period and following up on financial obligations.
The Plan
The National Numbering Plan includes calling codes and number ranges for telecommunications network operators and service providers, as well as the basis for allocating numbers and managing them. The plan lays down the organizational and technical foundations related to the formation, distribution and allocation of numbers, as well as the foundations for numbering management and pricing.It includes detailed data on management obligations those of telecom operators and service providers. It shows the difference between types of numbers such as geographical and non-geographic numbers, mobile phone network numbers and international service numbers.

Step 1 :
a letter from the agency requesting the service, stating the required number and its purpose, with a full explanation

Fill out the form, and approve it by the operator if required, according to the form

To activate the service bring an approval from the 'General Authority of Publications'

Submit the filled out form to the numbering department, accompanied by a certified check with the value of the annual tariff for the number(s) required.
